About Us

Cornell International Affairs Review is an independent student organization based in Cornell University, Ithaca NY.

Founded in 2007, Cornell International Affairs Review seeks to provide a nonpartisan society and forum dedicated to the study of international relations in an increasingly globalized world.

As Cornell's premier international relations-focused, undergraduate think thank, Cornell International Affairs Review has a three-fold task:

1) to analyze, speculate, and critique international relations policies and issues and publish said research in our biannual, collaboration-centred journal.

2) to work as a lobbying group, advocating for international relations awareness and academic cohesion through events, speakers, et cetera on Cornell's campus and beyond.

3) to offer to students of international relations a society in which to meet and engage people of similar interests.

It is a our firm belief that true knowledge stems not just from textbooks and lectures but from engaging with others. Thus, CIAR strongly emphasizes cooperation and dialogue amongst all our members, both on Cornell's campus and beyond.
